Lower Limb Exoskeleton Control Using EMG Signal Analysis
The integration of exoskeletons and electronic controls based on bio-signals provides advantages of better controllability. This is achieved by introducing physiological information about Human's movement intention. The main objective of this work is to investigate the sEMG signals acquired from lower limbs mussels, and to extract motion driving information. The proposed features include a combination of statistical features and features based on wavelet transforms. The system is evaluated for two movement setting and three movement settings. The final results showed that the integration of features based on the wavelet transforms compared to features based on the raw data did not always improve the performance of the system.
