ANALISIS DEIKSIS BAHASA MANDARIN DALAM FILM MY OLD CLASSMATE (同桌的妳): KAJIAN PRAGMATIK

The title of this thesis is Analysis of Chinese Deixis in the Film My Old Classmate 《同桌的妳》 (Tóng zhuō de nǐ) by Gao Xiaosong: Pragmatic Studies. The aims of this research are: 1. To find out what types of deixis are contained in the film My Old Classmate 《同桌的妳》 (Tóng zhuō de n). 2. Analyzing the use of deixis which has a speech meaning from each speech containing deixis in My Old Classmate 《同桌的妳》 (Tóng zhuō de nǐ) film. The data in this study are in the form of Chinese dialogue texts in the film My Old Classmate 《同桌的妳》 (Tóng zhuō de n) because in the dialogue texts there are Chinese sentences whose words are deixis. This study uses the method of data collection with the method of listening and noting. The data validity technique used in this research is source triangulation. The results of this study indicate that there are five types of deixis in My Old Classmate 《同 桌的妳》 (Tóng zhuō de nǐ) film, namely: person deixis, place deixis, time deixis, discourse deixis, and social deixis.
