Both the electric and magnetic dipoles are analyzed as the candidates of the aforementioned waveguide exciter. The characteristics of the optimized individual radiator included in the antenna array consisting of sixteen elements are analyzed. This antenna array guarantees beam steering plusmn500 and the side lobes level less than -10 dB.
