摘要

工程教育专业认证是高等教育质量保证体系的主要组成部分之一,由国际实质等同原则决定,是教育国际化的重要标志之一。本文阐述了工程教育专业认证的起源与发展,给出了工程教育专业认证的标准,并介绍了以美国、英国、德国、日本、台湾为代表的世界先进工程教育强国和地区在工程教育认证方面的经验。在此基础上,对如何在中国开展工程教育专业认证提出了几点建议。
