Bring your compass and let experienced explorers from two colleges in the Midwest: Grinnell College and Valparaiso University, guide you through the training forest showing you how to provide training even if you are on the economy trek.Experience some interactive techniques that go beyond the traditional training methods, collect tools that you can add to your backpack of ideas, and also learn how to add some fun to your training sessions so that learning goals are better achieved. Learn how to identify and involve experts from the outside to enhance your training program with diverse perspectives and knowledge. Your trek into the wilderness will allow you to learn tactics to encourage participation, design ideas for sessions for all learning styles and how to get more from your training investment.The unique challenges of providing training to a staff who, by their very nature, will be moving on after few years and maintaining an even level of customer service will be covered in this journey.
