The injustice felt by madrasas will never end if the government does not really pay attention to the existence of madrasas in Indonesia. This research is an expression of the author's criticism of the government so that it can pay more attention to madrasas so that madrasas can develop optimally both in terms of quality, education, teacher quality, facilities and infrastructure, student development, and so on. There are various policy gaps between MI and SD, including the difference in salaries of GTT teaching in MI and SD, PPG selection or teacher certification that is not balanced between MI and SD, the existence of a campus program teaching in SD while in MI there is no difference in scholarships received by MI and SD teachers. Related to this, actually in the Joint Decree (SKB) the three ministers have emphasized that madrasas will be well cared for by the government, but the question is why until now there is still inequality in government policies towards madrasa development?. This research reveals the various gaps that exist regarding the development of madrasas in Indonesia.
