Using the nature of lactose that can rotate the plane of polarization of plane-polarized, a lactose concentration detecting device is designed. The device consists of an experiment platform, a photoelectric receiving and converting module, a data processing module, and a LCD module. Laser, polarizer, detector tube, analyzer and photocell are placed on the experiment platform. The test results show that the performance of the detection device is stable and the error is less than 10% through multiple measure on different solutions at different times.
