Affordable IoT device for renewable energy systems monitoring of the CIVISA's multiparameter remote stations
CIVISA is a private-governmental institution who is responsible for operate in a vast network of surveillance and monitoring stations. Most of these observation points operate using renewable energies with an operability of at least 95% per year. In order to guarantee values of this percentage of data availability, it is implemented a program of constant energy reinforcement, but which entails important expenses. Hence, it is important to elaborate a study in situs to improve energy maintenance. However, in practice, commercial meters results in an unbearable cost for the institution. To solve this issue, it was developed a prototype of a low-cost voltage meter device with data logging and data transmission via LAN with IoT capabilities to be used at several stations. Results obtained with the prototype testing phase were promising and the resulted product is ready to be replicated for use at various network' stations. Moreover, an evolution of the product is already been considered to interact to a software application, also to develop to support the network monitoring of renewable energies
