The author proves that, contrary to popular belief, Rafalsky’s poetry is consonant to some tendencies of Russian modernism and its follower, the “Paris note”. In addition to the influence of the soviet avant-garde poets, which were researched in the Russian Prague, the author identifies in poems by Rafalsky some features, that indicate, that he was influenced by A.
