Dengan jumlah pasien positif terpapar virus ini yang semakin bertambah membuat warga masyarakat tak berhenti resah dan adanya kebijakan-kebijakan baru dari pemerintah. Tujuan kegiatan ini untuk melatih mitra dalam pembuatan produk Hand sanitizer (HS) dan memberikan produk HS sebagai bahan persediaan untuk menerapkan protokol 3M di Jurusan Kesehatan Masyarakat Univeristas Negeri Gorontalo. Kebaruan kegiatan ini adalah pembuatan Hand Sanitizer menggunakan bahan-bahan alami di kampus yang merupakan tempat yang berisiko tinggi terjadi paparan virus Covid-19 sehingga penting untuk membantu penegakan protokol kesehatan dengan terjaminnya ketersediaan produk HS. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan ini melalui pelatihan luring pembuatan produk dan pemberian produk HS kepada Jurusan sebagai bahan persediaan. Kesimpulan cairan pembersih tangan atau Hand sanitizer bukan hanya bermanfaat untuk mencegah penyebaran atau penularan virus corona melalui tangan, tetapi ternyata juga memiliki banyak manfaat.Kata Kunci: Covid-19; Edukasi; Hand sanitizer. AbstractCorona Virus, or what we know as Covid-19, is the most crucial topic of discussion in Indonesia. With the increasing number of positive patients exposed to this virus, community residents do not stop worrying, and there are new policies from the government. The purpose of this activity is to train partners in the manufacture of Hand sanitizer (HS) products and provide HS products as inventory materials to implement the 3M protocol in the Department of Public Health, Gorontalo State University. The novelty of this activity is the manufacture of Hand Sanitizers using natural ingredients on campus which is a place at high risk of exposure to the Covid-19 virus, so it is crucial to help enforce health protocols by ensuring the availability of HS products. This activity is implemented through offline training in product manufacturing and the provision of HS products to the Department as inventory materials.
