The achieved simulation results in both cases of 16-PSK with and without applying TCM showed that more Eb/No energy is required for the 16-PSK without TCM to achieve the same BER compared to 16-PSK with TCM coding technique. Therefore, applying TCM coding technique improved the performance on average by about 3 dB.
