The research determined that application letter coud improve the students writing’s skill. This research is qualitative research. The writer collects the data using the test and the documentation. The test is written test of application letter in English subject for the students  at the fourth semester of ASM Persada Bunda Pekanbaru. Then, the students’ sheet were corrected by scoring rubric of business letter. 摘要

本研究旨在确定申请信是否能提高学生的写作能力。本研究旨在探讨学生英语功能写作的能力,尤其是第四学期的申请信写作。研究对象是管理学院院长Persada Bunda Pekanbaru第四学期的学生。有5个学生。研究表明,求职信可以提高学生的写作水平。这项研究是定性研究。作者使用测试和文档收集数据。本次考试是ASM第四学期学生英语学科申请信的笔试。然后,对学生的答卷进行商业信函评分批改。最后,作者分析了学生的成绩。关键词:求职信;写作能力;
