This asset management model is based on the ISO 55001 standard; after validating the state-of-the-art it has been found that there is no proposal for the management of this type of assets, due to this, the proposed model adopts international standard processes such as: documentation, monitoring, change management, auditing and maintenance. For the implementation of the asset management system (AMS) of control centers, management indicators of the SCADA infrastructure assets are proposed, which is monitored in real time, and the data is stored in long-term historical records. The indicators were implemented in four control centers in Latin America.
