In this study, affordable house means house that is appropriate for low to moderate income households. Two existing housing schemes in Kota Kinabalu, namely Taman Bina Puri and Taman Jaya Diri were selected for observation. The study revealed that there is no clear framework to guide the construction as well as distribution of affordable house to the poor. 摘要
本文的目的是介绍如何衡量沙巴，即哥打京那巴鲁人民负担得起的住房水平的机制。在本研究中，经济适用房是指适合中低收入家庭的住房。哥打京那巴鲁的两个现有住房计划，即Taman Bina Puri和Taman Jaya Diri被选中进行观察。该研究显示，没有明确的框架来指导建设以及向穷人分配经济适用房。该研究建议采用发展援助委员会(发援会)的标准作为评价手段，以确保公平和有效地分配负担得起的住房。
