E-government processes are started forming in many countries to provide better public service, faster government function and easier collaboration between government agencies. E-government project are carried out by almost all countries in the world however some are in advanced level and some are still in struggling stages. The objective of this research is to study situation of Singapore and Myanmar e-government regulatory body. By studying the situation of Myanmar e-government process and future master plan, the study is to find out strength, weakness, opportunities and threat of regulatory body in e-government process of Myanmar. The reason we choose Singapore is to study lesson learned from Singapore success stories Singapore is considered having successful e-government and receiving high rank from major e-government organizations. The method of study is using the secondary data from United Nation’s e-government survey, academic publications of Singapore e-government and focus group interview with stakeholders of Myanmar e-government. Study found that the role although the national level e-government authority was proposed to setup in Myanmar, there are some challenges and difficulties to establish that committee in terms of human resource, leadership support, budgetary issue, regional and federal government power sharing.
