Design techniques commonly used in the past have become insufficient for suppression of electromagnetic interference (EMI) at the printed-circuit level and, perhaps, for basic functional signal quality as well. An overview using a hands-on approach to solving radio frequency (RF) emissions on printed circuit boards is presented. Implementing the items presented will help reduce RF generated on the printed circuit board.
