The influence of the insulator thickness, the effect of the air gap, the window height and the variation of the value of the capacitive effects as a consequence of the coil-former and insulator materials are some of the parameters that have been analyzed in this work. It is important to note that all these effects should be analyzed together when designing a new magnetic component. The study has been carried out by means of a frequency and geometry dependent model that accounts for 2D effects.
