Maximum gain achievable from the aperture coupled with system level parameters like G/T, accommodation of a feed capable of simultaneous uplink and downlink involving monopulse tracking and ease of assembly on a moving and constrained workplace like ship or a truck is also major driving parameter in the design. Design of an axially displaced ellipsoid reflector antenna for a 4.6m diameter ship-borne transportable terminal at S-band
