Enhanced amino acid metabolic programs are associated with bone metastatic disease and may be further augmented by the bone microenvironment. Abstract

Purpose of review: Breast and prostate tumors frequently metastasize to the bone, but the underlying mechanisms for osteotropism remain elusive.
