Its complex management, including psychotherapeutic and pharmacological interventions, challenges the therapeutic relationship. Abstract
Hypochondriasis is characterized by the fear or belief of suffering from a serious illness, based on the subject's misinterpretation of physical symptoms or manifestations of bodily functions.
