Median time from laboratory testing to ART start was 5 days (5; 5). No regimen modification occurred within one month. In conclusion, no regimen modification was needed within the first month of treatment. Starting a 2DR within a few days after HIV diagnosis was feasible, relying upon complete results of the needed laboratory tests (including resistance testing).
