Variabilité d'expression d'un gène A faible dans les érythrocytes et les sécrétions dans une même fratrie

Abstract

Une famille de race noire est étudiée, dont la fratrie comporte trois enfants AB et un enfant A ayant tous un antigène A faible.

Cette observation amène à discuter plusieurs phénomènes : interaction allélique entre le gène A faible et le gène B, variabilité d'expression érythrocytaire du gène A faible, variabilité dans la quantité de substance A sécrétée.

A negro family is studied with three AB and one A children, all with a weak A antigen.

Three problems are discussed : allelic interaction between the weak A gene and the B gene ; phenotypic variability of the weak A gene ; variability of the amount of A substance in secretions.
