The goal of WEP-2017 was to empower women in all spheres of life with a particular focus on social, cultural, political-economic, legal, and personal life. This study conducted a gendered departmental analysis focusing on workplace analysis, human resource capacity analysis, and training need assessment. Data from 332 officials representing 13 civil secretariat departments were collected using a self-administered questionnaire. \nMethodology: A proportionate sampling technique was used to select the subjects. Descriptive statistics were used for analysis. \nFindings: All the departments scored ‘very low’ or ‘low’ on the HR capacity analysis and previously received training experience.
