And then the dynamic fault-tolerant control strategy is put into operation to achieve continuous and stable operation of the system, which improves the overall reliability of the system. Abstract

This paper proposes a dynamic fault-tolerant control strategy of DC-side for three-phase to single-phase cascaded converter. The three-phase to single-phase cascaded converter is the key equipment in advanced traction power supply system and the fault-tolerant control strategy can enhance the reliability of this system. First, through the in-depth analysis of the three-phase to single-phase cascaded converter, when the cascaded converter fails at the module level, the fault module is located by fault detection and bypassed. And then the dynamic fault-tolerant control strategy is put into operation to achieve continuous and stable operation of the system, which improves the overall reliability of the system. Finally, simulation results are given to verify the feasibility of the proposed dynamic fault-tolerant control strategy.
