Abstract
The possibility of determining the scandium content in ash and slag waste and monitoring the effectiveness of operations in the ash processing by the method of instrumental neutron activation analysis was shown. The scandium content and elemental composition of ash and slag waste from thermal power plants and intermediate products of their processing are presented. An increased content of scandium in the magnetic fraction of ash was established.
