Evolution of trade centers in the Black Sea region

Abstract

The present study is part of a larger project related to trade routes and centers in Bulgaria, and in particular the Bulgarian Black Sea coast. The purpose of the study is to investigate the physical trading infrastructure built in the Middle Ages in the territory of present-day Bulgaria, whose traces and objects can still be identified in some of our cities.
