Majority of barbers had poor attitude and practices (74.0%), one fourth of the study participants had moderate attitude and practices (22.7%) and only 1(0.7%) barber had good attitude and practices towards BBVI. Most of the barbers had poor knowledge, attitude and practice regarding BBVI. Abstract

Barber shops are potential medium for transmission of BBVI and several communicable diseases as barber shops are visited by general population.
