To substantiate the public's demand, the challenge is to make the mechanism more efficient in terms of saving water and electricity and less costly. Therefore, it is required to switch off the geyser once the desired temperature and quantity of water is reached. This paper presents a device for controlling a hot water geyser with an inbuilt time selection unit, comprising a level selection switch to set the temperature corresponding to a time interval and water level. The water holding tank contains a heating element with a controller operatively coupled to the time selection unit to operate as per the set parameters for hot water.
