Abstract

In many cases the complexity of some systems requires the use of multiple paradigms of modeling in order to create an appropriate model. In this paper we present an approach for mixing both paradigms of Constraint Programming and Multi-Agent System to be used for the resolution of the Distributed Constraint Satisfaction Problem (DCSP). This approach is based on the concept of Controller Agent. Also, we present its functionality, the proposed algorithms, and the general structure of the different layers in the prototype of the system.
