Changes in teaching strategies need to be done so that learning is not centered on the teacher but on students, so that students tend to be active in finding their own answers or solutions to a problem and applying it in everyday life. This study aims to describe the skill level of high school students to solve science problems in the environment. The method used is descriptive quantitative to get a overview of the skills of high school students in solving science problems in the environment. The data collection technique was in the form of a written test. The research variable is the skills of high school students in solving science problems in the environment. The research sample was high school students of science study program in East Java who used purposive sampling.
