A method for distinguishing sky from water in an image

Abstract

The article discusses the problem of segmented sky in images of water areas. The discovery of contours of water sources in an image is related to the separation of the sky as an air mass, not a water source. Sky and water have RGB in the blue rock. An algorithm that differentiates the sky from the water is implemented. The application was implemented on MATLAB and tested on various images.
