Abstract

This paper presents a novel design of a bandwidth enhanced dual-band impedance matching network utilizing the principle of wave slowing. Coupled-line sections have been used in their all-pass configuration to incorporate the same. The proposed design is generalized for real as well as complex loads with simple closed form design equations. The design is compact and robust and solves the hurdle of bandwidth crunch at GSM and near-GSM frequencies.
