If a ship accident occurs, stakeholders must be legally responsible for any losses from their mistakes during the voyage. This community service activity aims to increase participants’ understanding of legal responsibility for ship accidents to minimize ship accidents in the future. This activity carried out legal counseling using presentation and question and answer methods with 40 participants, consisting of teachers and students at the Sinar Bahari Palembang Maritime Vocational High School. The results of this activity indicate that the implementation of this legal counseling has significantly improved the participants’ understanding.
