This bandwidth is chosen to show the broadband effects on the scattering parameters as well as on the radiation patterns. For the radiation behavior the focus is on the differences between a constant and a frequency dependent half power beamwidth. Abstract
In this publication the impact of the dipole size and its groundplane on the half power beamwidth of a dual polarized dipole is analyzed in detail.
