The research was carried out in the academic year 2017-2018, comprising a number of 22 weeks, respectively 22 lessons of physical education and sports, and brought together a number of 50 students aged between 19 and 26. Abstract

Given the orientation of the student-centered education, through our study, we aim to prove that the game of basketball can influence the development of the emotional intelligence in young people in order to achieve future professional performances and increase the quality of life.
