Effect of irrigation, fertiliser and manure on yield and economic return of okra/pepper intercrops

Abstract

In an experimental trial in northern Nigeria, intercrops of okra (Abelmoschus esculentus) and pepper (Capsicum annuum) gave better yields and economic returns with application of 400 kg ha−1 of inorganic fertiliser, 5 t ha−1 of manure and 10-day irrigation intervals.
