Penelitian mengambil empat kelas yaitu dua kelas sebagai kelas eksperimen dan dua kelas sebagai kelas kontrol. Pada analisis data penelitian terbagi menjadi dua yaitu analisis data sebelum dan sesudah penelitian. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh peningkatan gain kelas eksperimen sebesar 0,44 dan peningkatan gain kelas kontrol sebesar 0,19. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran inkuiri berbasis proyek mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap peningkatan kemandirian belajar siswa. The aims of this research are to know increase students’ self-learning to the application of project based learning. Studies using experimental models with pre-post design control group with purposive sampling. This study conducted in fou classes, two classes as the experimental class and another two as the class control. In the analysis of research data is divided into two data analysis before and after the research. From the research results obtained by increasing the gain of 0. 44 experimental class and increase control class gain of 0. 19 .
