Abstract

The Hippo pathway is an important pathway to control cell proliferation and organ size. By sensing extracellular matrix stiffness and intercellular mechanical force and converting them into molecular signal transduction, through a series of cascade amplification effects of kinases, the final the phosphorylation of YAP/TAZ, the main downstream target of the Hippo pathway, plays a series of regulatory roles.
