Recuperando a justiça de gênero e a África nas Conferências Mundiais da Mulher

Abstract

How do the plans, platforms and strategies of action of the World Conferences on Women reflect the principles of gender justice? In this paper, we point out how the aforementioned documents frame gender justice in terms of redistribution, recognition, and representation. Furthermore, we briefly analyse how these principles are applied to Africa under the framework of the World Conferences’ documents. We conclude that the plans and strategies prioritise redistribution and recognition, whereas representation is framed diffusively.
