Abstract

The movement and fuel consumption of the No. 3 Chang'e during the landing procedure on the near moon point and remote moon point is researched as well as the trajectory design and optimal control strategy is given. Firstly,the movement trajectory is projected to a plane at the remote moon point direction. Coordinate axis is established based on the zero longitude and zero degree latitude. The movement of the No. 3 Chang'e in near moon point is considered as uniform circular motion. Then the location of near moon point and remote moon point can be calculated. Subsequently,the minimal fuel consumption is set as the target variable to compute the optimal driving force in the case of the minimal consumption.
