These four characters were each monogenically inherited and were linked, with the gene order being Lr10, (54 and 70 kDa polypeptides), Hg. These genes are located on the short arm of chromosome 1A. Abstract

The possibility that genes controlling the expression of wheat endosperm proteins are linked to the Lr10 gene conditioning resistance to leaf rust (Puccinia recondita f. sp. tritici) race 1 was examined.
