Evolution of surgical treatment in Hirschsprung’s disease in children

Abstract

This article represents a study of the scientific literature data about Hirschsprung disease, which describes the etiology, pathogenesis, classification, development of the methods of medico-surgical conduct at different stages of medical care of these groups of patients – from the time of the first research to the present. The objective of this article is to remark the achievements in pediatric surgery, namely in solving the adjacent issues caused by Hirschsprung disease and elucidating existing controversies and gaps.
