After the extraction agent has been removed, the residue is dissolved in water. The extracts are injected into the capillary, then the individual components are separated by capillary electrophoresis and detected by laser-induced fluorescence. Coumarin-3-carboxylic acid is used as an internal standard. Calibration standards are prepared in serum and processed in the same way as the samples to be analysed.
