Abstract

While the utilization of a two-level voltage source inverter (VSI) with a single de supply fed ac loads such as ac motor drives, it also causes some problems, among which the common-mode voltage (CMV) cannot be ignored in drive systems, the mitigation or zero CMV control is necessary for proper operation. This paper proposes a discontinuous space vector modulation (SVM) technique to eliminate the CMV of a dual two-level VSI with two isolated de supplies fed open-end load applications.
