The purpose of this research is to evaluate the effectiveness of using animated videos as an information technology-based learning media in Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Negeri Surabaya. The research method used is descriptive study with data collec-tion technique through survey. The research sample consisted of 35 students who met certain criteria. After the questionnaire was distributed, the questionnaire data was analyzed using percentage technique. The re-sults of the study showed that students were satisfied and effective in using animated videos as a learning media. Abstract

This research discusses the use of animated videos as a learning media in higher education, specifically in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Negeri Surabaya.
