Economic Crisis in Sri Lanka Due to the COVID-19 Epidemic

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic is one of the worst epidemics in resent history. Many countries around the world are currently affected by the epidemic and Sri Lanka is just another country suffering from the epidemic.The epidemic is affecting the economy in many ways. It focuses on how the COVID-19 epidemic has affected Sri Lanka’s economy, employment, GDP, tourism and poverty. Further, steps must be taken to control the spread of the epidemic and restore the economy. Or it may take years for the economy to recover.
