Abstract

Cytapheresis of progenitor cells and immature granulocytes was employed in the initial management of a pregnant patient with Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia (CML). A semicontinuousflow blood cell separator was used; no sedimenting agents were applied. Over a period of 16 weeks the patient underwent 15 therapeutic Cytapheresis.
