Abstract

This paper presents a new approach for the design of integrated protection of next generation shipboard power systems. The focus is given to testing of new protection schemes through a design process that can provide opportunities to investigate the concept of integrated protection, as well as integrated control and reconfiguration, in shipboard power systems.
