Rééducation post-opératoire d’un strabisme divergent intermittent chez l’adulte

Abstract

Mme E., âgée de 26 ans, présente un strabisme divergent intermittent depuis la petite enfance. Sa gêne esthétique et fonctionnelle ayant un impact sur le plan social et relationnel l’amène à consulter un ophtalmologiste qui l’adresse pour un bilan orthoptique dont la conclusion amène à une proposition d’intervention chirurgicale. Une rééducation orthoptique est alors proposée ultérieurement.

Mrs. E., 26 years old, has had intermittent divergent strabismus since early childhood. Her aesthetic and functional discomfort had an impact on her social and personal life, and led her to consult an ophthalmologist. She was referred to an orthoptist for a complete assessment, which led to propose surgery. Orthoptic rehabilitation was then proposed post-operatively.
