Abstract

This paper presents a simulation tool for direction-of-arrival (DOA) estimation in adaptive signal processing arrays. The tool implements the multiple signal classification (MUSIC) DOA algorithm. A user-friendly graphical user interface (GUI) is also developed. In addition to its usefulness in the design and analysis of adaptive signal processing arrays, the tool can also be used for computer-aided learning of modem communication systems utilizing smart antennas.
